About the TurCreek Trot 5K
This Thanksgiving morning race runs through Village Greens Park, a local park setting that keeps things grounded and familiar. Costumes are encouraged, and plenty of people show up dressed for the occasion. Age group winners take home pies instead of trophies, which fits the holiday pretty well.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the park itself, near the back pavilion by the mountain bike course. Race-morning pickup opens early if you skip the preview day. The park has its own lot, and the high school across the street offers overflow parking. Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck is on-site after the race with hot chocolate and coffee.
