This is a Thanksgiving morning race on the local trail system in Stockton, organized in part by the group that maintains and advocates for those same trails. The course is on the trails themselves, so expect a natural surface underfoot rather than pavement. Proceeds go toward ongoing trail improvements, which gives the event a direct connection to the ground you run on.
