About the Trot in the Trees 5k Trail Race and Fun Run

The course winds through Tibbetts Field and into the surrounding forest, with a stretch through Powder Major Forest. Expect real trail conditions: roots, mud, and fall leaves underfoot. The route also features a hay-bale hurdle near the finish, which breaks up the run in a way a road race never does. A shorter fun run covers the same kind of terrain for younger runners.

Race-morning registration is available up until shortly before the start, so you do not need to commit ahead of time. Proceeds from the race support youth recreation scholarships for families in the local community.
