The course runs on a USATF certified route through Washington Lake Park, a green open space in Sewell. The park setting keeps things shaded and relatively calm, and the shorter walk distance starts right behind the runners, so families moving at different paces can still share the morning. Age group awards go to the top finishers on the run side.
