About the Trick-or-Trot 5K & Fun Run
The course starts and finishes at a convention center in Lufkin, so the start line and the finish line are the same spot. Beyond the running, there is quite a bit going on: carnival games, pumpkin painting, a costume contest, and a Mascot Mad Dash. It reads more like a fall festival that happens to have a race attached.
Packet pickup runs for a few days before race morning at the Brookshire Brothers corporate office, with race-day pickup available on a first-come basis if you miss the earlier window.
