About the Triad GO FAR Community 5K & Fun Run
This is a kids-and-families race, built around a youth running program that trains at schools and community clubs through the fall. The course runs through downtown High Point in a loop, which means parents and cheering squads can actually see the kids more than once. Cheer stations line the route throughout.
The race-day setup includes family festivities open to everyone who comes out to watch, so it is worth arriving with time to settle in before the start. The loop design makes it easy to plant yourself in one spot and catch runners on multiple passes without moving far.
