About the Trail Mix Race
The course follows horse trails through Lake Rebecca Park Reserve, moving through hardwood forest, wetland, and open prairie. The surface is packed dirt and grass with moderate hills and few rocks or roots, though low-lying and wooded sections can hold mud or shallow standing water. Several distance options share portions of the same loop, so the terrain stays consistent across the field.
Parking at the park is free, and from some spots it is a short walk to the start area. If the main lot fills, staff direct you to overflow parking, and a free shuttle connects that lot to the event village and runs throughout the morning.
