About the Track or Treat 5K
The course starts and finishes on the track at Garrard County High School's stadium, with the middle stretch taking you out onto rolling roads through the surrounding neighborhood before you loop back and re-enter the stadium gates. The finish line is on the track itself, with whatever crowd has gathered in the stands to watch.
After finishing, the celebration stays inside the stadium. There are refreshments and music on the field, and an awards ceremony follows for top finishers across age groups, all held right there rather than at a separate venue.
