About the Toy Drop

The course runs through a part of Loveland the race hasn't used before, which is part of the point. Depending on which distance you choose, you get an out-and-back or a looped route past a lake, mountain views, and a paved rec path. The terrain is approachable and the scenery does real work.

Each runner is asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the donation drop at the start, which benefits a local children's charity. Packet pickup the evening before is at Berthoud Brewing, with race-morning pickup available near the finish line. Parking is available nearby, but some spots are reserved for the adjacent hotel, so read the map before you pull in.
