About the Tour de Tinsel 5K

The course winds through downtown LaGrange at night, which changes the feel of the race entirely. Streets are lined with decorated Christmas trees along the Tinsel Trail, and cheering groups are spread out along the route, so there is noise and light for most of the run. It is a road race, and the holiday setting does most of the work.

After finishing, runners head to Sweetland Amphitheatre for a party with a live DJ, holiday food, and ice skating nearby. The race benefits a local nonprofit focused on supporting families in the area, which draws a crowd that seems genuinely invested in the event beyond just the run.
