The course is USATF certified, so the distance is exact. It runs through Totowa and draws a real mix of people out on a holiday morning, from those pushing for a fast time to families just getting some air before dinner. The feel is neighborhood rather than big-event production.

Packet pickup runs for several days before the race at the Totowa Public Library on Totowa Road, which spreads out the lines and keeps race morning calmer.
