About the Tomahawk Trot 5k
The course runs through historical Gnadenhutten on mostly flat streets, with one small hill the organizer is careful to put in quotation marks. It is timed to coincide with the town's fireworks festival, so the streets are already lively when the race begins. Strollers and dogs on a leash are welcome.
The race starts and finishes at the Masonic Temple Lodge, right in the downtown festival area, which puts you in the middle of the evening's larger celebration when you cross the line.
