About the Tom McHugh Run for the Arts 5K Run/Walk

The race starts and finishes at a crab house on the waterfront in Rock Hall, a small town on the Chesapeake Bay. The course goes out along the water and comes back, so the bay stays close for most of the run. Proceeds support an arts scholarship for a local high school senior and the arts program at a nearby elementary school.

The race runs alongside FallFest, a town-wide celebration with live music, food vendors, and artisans. Oysters are a big part of it. The festival atmosphere means the finish area is lively, with plenty of reason to stick around after you cross.
