About the Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser
The course runs through Machicomoco State Park on a paved loop, flat the whole way, with the Timberneck House and the York River as the backdrop. The park setting gives it a quieter, more natural feel than a road race through town. Water is out at the start and again at the midpoint of the route.
Check-in and packet pickup happen at the park before the start, so no separate trip the day before. After the race there are snacks near the historic house, and restrooms are available close to the finish area.
