About the Tidewater Striders Turkey Trot 10K & Mile

The 10K loops through a residential neighborhood and into Mt. Trashmore City Park before returning to the YMCA where it started. The mile is an out-and-back on the same stretch, so the courses share the feel of a quiet neighborhood morning with a park at the center of it. Strollers are allowed on the course; dogs are not.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race at the Mt. Trashmore YMCA, the same spot where both races start and finish. The post-race party sets up in the YMCA parking lot, with refreshments open to runners and volunteers. Age group awards are announced there.
