About the Tidewater Striders 6th Annual All-Comers Indoor Track and Field Meet
This is an indoor track and field meet held at the Virginia Beach Sports Center, so the surface is a proper banked indoor track and the conditions are controlled regardless of weather. The centerpiece event is a mile race, but the meet also includes sprints, jumps, throws, a relay, and a pentathlon, so competitors can mix and match events across the morning.
Concessions are open during the meet, with food, drinks, and adult beverages available to purchase. Awards happen on the track after the final event wraps up. Kids who compete in any event walk away with an award, and a rose is handed out to all women and girls after the meet.
