About the Thriller Lake - 12, 6, 3 Hour and Trick or Treat Fun Run
The course is a paved trail circling a lake inside a county park, run repeatedly over whatever duration you signed up for. The surface is smooth, which means you can focus more on the costumes than your footing. This is a Halloween event first: expect costumed runners, music, and a genuine party atmosphere at the start and finish area.
Trick-or-treat stations staffed by costumed volunteers are spaced around the loop for the evening fun run, which starts at dusk. The timed events share the same trail, so there is always something happening on course. PERC Coffee is brewed on site for runners, crew, and anyone who comes to watch.
