About the Thomaston Kiwanis Kreepy 5k Road Race
The course runs around a lake at Lakeside Park, following a loop trail. The terrain is park-style and relatively even, with the water visible for much of the route. The race goes off in the late afternoon, so fall light is usually sitting low over the lake by the time most runners finish.
Parking is available at the park. The race is professionally timed, and awards follow the finish. A new location this year, so even runners who have done this one before will be seeing the course fresh.
