About the Thistlethwaite Haunted Wine Run 5k

The course runs through a family-owned vineyard, so most of the route is on vineyard grounds rather than pavement. The organizers flag uneven terrain, which is worth keeping in mind if you plan to push a stroller. The Halloween theme carries through the event, and there is a pour of wine at the finish for those of age.

Age group awards are handed out at the registration table as results come in, so there is no ceremony to wait around for. Results go up on a timing company's site shortly after the race. Runners of all ages are welcome, with a separate registration path for younger participants.
