About the Wild Turkey

The Wild Turkey runs on Thanksgiving morning along the trails at Folsom Lake, starting from Beals Point. The terrain is natural trail, so expect dirt underfoot and scenery that goes with it. There are a couple of distance options, and strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the shorter route.

After the race there are refreshments and music at the finish area. A kids fun run follows the main races, making it a full morning for families who want to spend Thanksgiving outside before the rest of the day kicks in.
