About the Wiener Run - Fort Worth

The Wiener Run takes place at Webb Community Park in Fort Worth, with a hot dog and a drink waiting at the finish line. The timed and untimed distance options make it work for serious runners and casual ones alike, and a kids dash gives families a reason to come out together. A live DJ calls finishers by name as they cross.

Packet pickup wraps up shortly before the start, so arriving early is a good idea. The post-race scene has a backyard cookout feel, with awards, music, and food out in the open. Results are posted live at the registration tent.

Common Questions About the The Wiener Run - Fort Worth

Will I finish last at the Wiener Run - Fort Worth?

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.11 Miles field finished slower than 39:11, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:10:30, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Wiener Run - Fort Worth a good first 3.11 Miles?

It is a small race (134 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 3.11 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Wiener Run - Fort Worth?

The 3.11 Miles winner ran 21:45 while the median finisher took 39:11. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
