The course runs through the grounds of a working winery, on paved paths that wind past vines and pastoral scenery. The organizer is upfront that this is not a course for chasing fast times, and the atmosphere reflects that. Post-race, there is a pour of wine at the finish.
Packet pickup is on race morning only, opening about an hour before the start. There is no separate day-before option, so plan to arrive with a little time to spare.
