About the Ultimate SUCK
The Ultimate SUCK takes place on a working farm outside Cuba, and the course is beside the point. Participants carry sandbags, haul buckets, split wood, and move through whatever farm and physical challenges the organizers have staged. The tasks are not announced in advance. You find out when you get there, and then you do them, through the night if you entered the longer format.
Check-in is the evening before the event begins, with a mandatory gear inspection and pre-race briefing. You need to show up with time to spare, because your pack and sandbags get weighed. Camping is in an open field. After it is all over, there is a bonfire and breakfast.
