About the TY FIVE -5K Race Run/Walk
The race starts and finishes at East Rogersville Baptist Church, and it exists to honor a baby named Tyson Emmitt Gibson, who was stillborn, and to support families who have faced pregnancy and infant loss. The proceeds go toward stillbirth and miscarriage research and outreach. The tone of the morning reflects that purpose: this is a gathering as much as it is a race.
Parking is available at the church itself, and overflow lots at a nearby elementary school and a middle school down the road give you options if the main lot fills. The start area is at the church, so everything is in one place.
