About the Turkey March 5K
This is a Thanksgiving-season race that benefits the local school band program, and the marching band connection runs through the whole event. The course is not described in detail, but the atmosphere leans toward fall and holiday spirit, with music part of the backdrop. All paces are genuinely part of the morning, not just tolerated.
Entry fees go directly toward student opportunities in the Harrisburg Band Program, so the finish line means something beyond the run itself.
