About the Run League Presents: Holly Jolly 5K & 10K
The Holly Jolly 5K and 10K leans hard into the holiday theme. Runners show up in ugly sweaters, Santa hats, and Christmas pajamas, so the start line looks more like a neighborhood holiday party than a typical race morning. The course is in Colonial Heights, and the event draws people running hard for a personal best alongside folks out for a festive walk with friends.
A portion of each registration goes to a college access fund for students, so the race has a purpose behind the party. A virtual option lets people participate from anywhere during race week, submitting their finish time on the honor system.
