About the River Run
Both courses start and finish at Central Waters Brewing Co, a brewery in Amherst. The longer option winds through downtown and picks up a limestone-chipped trail along the Tomorrow River before looping back. The shorter course crosses the river too, staying closer to downtown. Neither course is closed to traffic, so you share the road with vehicles throughout.
A kids fun run runs alongside the main event, open to younger children. After finishing, there is a can of River Run beer waiting, along with the option to buy a bottle of a limited release from Central Waters. Pre-registration is strongly recommended, as same-day entry costs more.
