About the Reindeer Race
The Reindeer Race starts and finishes at a historic hall on East Beaver Street, with several distance options covering the streets of Zelienople. A costume contest runs alongside the race itself, so expect some festive company on the course. The event raises money for youth summer camps and awards scholarships to top finishers in the younger age groups.
Parking is at Zelienople Community Park, a short walk from the start. After the race, there is food, a basket auction, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The auction is open to everyone, so bringing a little extra cash is worth it.
