About the Red Rocks 5K

The course runs through Red Rocks Park on dirt and gravel trails, moving through wooded terrain with moderate hills. It starts at the main gate off Central Avenue and finishes near the picnic area by the beach, so the surroundings shift from shaded forest to open lakeside by the end.

Parking is available inside the park, though cars cannot leave until the last runner finishes, so plan accordingly. Street parking along Central Avenue is an option if you want more flexibility. Porta-potties are set up near the park entrance, and the park restrooms are open. Post-race snacks and water are at the finish.
