About the Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot
The course runs through Hudson Mills Metropark, looping through wooded terrain along the river. Several distance options mean you can go short or stack a longer challenge, and the park setting stays scenic even late in the season. Kids get their own short dash before the main waves go off.
Packet pickup happens the afternoon before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup at the Activity Center inside the park. Parking requires either a Metropark pass or a cash entry fee at the gate. After you finish, pancakes and mac and cheese are on. The race collects canned food for a local hunger-relief organization.
