About the One-One Run

The race starts and finishes at a brewery in Westville, so you are back inside quickly on a cold holiday morning. The route is short and flat, which means the field moves fast and the whole thing wraps up before most people have had breakfast.

Packet pickup is behind the brewery at a tent on race morning, with plenty of time before the gun. Afterward, a food stand opens early with breakfast and lunch options, the brewery pours beer or soda with your entry, and awards for top finishers and age groups go out not long after the last runner crosses.

Common Questions About the The One-One Run

Will I finish last at the One-One Run?

Almost certainly not. Half the 1 Miles field finished slower than 9:48, and the last recorded finisher came in around 19:29, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the One-One Run a good first 1 Miles?

It is a small race (119 finishers), which is friendlier and less intimidating than a big-city event, though the field thins out. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the One-One Run?

The 1 Miles winner ran 5:44 while the median finisher took 9:48. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
