About the Midwest Ultra Trail Classic
The course runs through Knob Noster State Park on a looping single-track trail called Opossum Hollow. Expect rooted and rocky forest floor, creek crossings, and rolling hills throughout. The terrain is technical the whole way, not just in spots, and each loop adds real climbing. Runners choose their distance by deciding how many loops to run.
Everyone starts together, and the start and finish are the same spot, so crews can set up there and runners return to a stocked aid station after each loop. Personal coolers and extra gear are welcome at that area. There are no drop bags out on course and no pacers on the trail.
