The course starts at a middle school and runs through Medina. The race has an ugly sweater theme, so most people show up in holiday knitwear, the tackier the better. Proceeds go to a local charity, which gives the morning a purpose beyond just the run itself. Santa is part of the event, so it draws families with kids alongside the runners.
The start is at the middle school on Middle School Road, which is easy enough to find on its own.
