About the Mammoth Trail Run 2026 - 100K / 50K / 25K / 10K / 5K and Mighty Mammoth 1K Kids Dash
The course runs through High Hope Ranch, a large working property outside Glen Rose with genuinely rugged terrain. The hills here are serious, with steep drops and climbs that demand traction, so trail shoes with aggressive lugs are not optional. Distance options stretch from a short kids' dash all the way up to an ultramarathon that runs nearly the full day.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the ranch itself. After you finish, there is food, cold drinks, and live music at the post-race gathering. Primitive camping is available on the property if you want to stay the night, no hookups but plenty of open sky.
