About the Lighthouse 5k Run & Fun Walk
The course runs through a stretch of town before reaching a park along Rattling Creek, where the trail flattens out and follows the water. The terrain is mixed, but the route moves quickly and stays approachable for most paces. A shorter kids loop circles the town separately, keeping the two races from tangling.
Packet pickup opens race morning and runs until shortly before the start. The post-race gathering is back at the Valley Lighthouse, where hot dogs and assorted food are set out for anyone who sticks around.
