About the Leftover Run
The Leftover Run is a Thanksgiving-weekend race in Ada built around a food drive and fundraiser for North Kent Connect. The full name is an elaborate Office reference, which tells you something about the tone of the morning. The race draws families, and kids under a certain age can enter at no charge as long as they run with an adult.
Nothing in the organizer's notes covers the course terrain or the start area, so the clearest thing to know going in is the charitable angle: bring a food donation if you can, and expect a crowd that is there as much for the cause as for the clock.
