About the Last Boyscout

The Last Boyscout is a last-person-standing format race at Ferne Clyffe State Park, where runners keep completing the same loop until only one person finishes. The day loop mixes single-track trail, jeep road, and a stretch of pavement, with two real climbs, the steepest being the Boyscout Trail. The night loop shifts to mostly paved road, with an out-and-back that uses the same trail as its northern leg.

Parking is spread across several designated areas near the course, and the map the organizers share marks them clearly. The start and finish area is a covered pavilion that also serves as the sole aid point on course. Water, ice, and food are available there, with hot food appearing as the race stretches on. Pit toilets and porta-toilets are nearby.
