About the Lake Cumberland Half & 10K

The half starts on a bridge over Lake Cumberland and runs point-to-point through several small towns before finishing at a community college in Somerset. The route is not a loop, so you see new ground the whole way. It benefits Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, and that purpose is front and center in how the race presents itself.

All parking is at the finish, with buses shuttling runners to their respective start lines in the morning. Packet pickup runs the evening before at the finish-line venue, with an early race-morning window as a backup. A physical therapist will have a tent at the finish for stretching and foam rolling, and can talk through running injuries or form.
