About the L8KES RUN

The course runs through Green Lakes State Park on a mix of trails and park roads. The trail distance starts on a beach path and winds through wooded terrain around the lakes, while shorter options stay closer to the park's open areas. It is genuine woodland running, not a road race with a gravel stretch tacked on.

Packet pickup and race-morning registration are in a large tent near the Community Room inside the park. Green Lakes charges a parking fee after a certain hour in the morning, so arriving early saves you that cost. Gannon's Ice Cream is at the finish.
