About the Kilbourne Community 5k and Fun Run
The course runs through the Worthington Hills Elementary School area, which gives it a neighborhood feel. This is a school-spirit race at its core, organized by the cross country athletes and their boosters, so the energy on course comes from the team itself. There is a short kids run alongside the main distance, so the morning draws a wide mix of ages from the surrounding area.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Fleet Feet in Lewis Center, with race-morning pickup available at the school. The start and finish are at Worthington Hills Elementary, which means parking and the post-race scene are centered around a familiar community campus.

The Kilbourne Community 5k and Fun Run has been held every year since at least 2021. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
