About the JAM 5K Run/Walk at East Pete Day
The course runs through residential East Petersburg, flat and straightforward, looping through neighborhood streets before returning to the fire hall on Pine Street where it started. You see front porches and quiet intersections rather than trails or parks. The race benefits a foundation started in memory of a local high school graduate, and that backstory gives the morning a weight that a purely neighborhood 5K often lacks.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a community building nearby, with race-morning pickup available as well. The start and finish are both at the fire hall, so there is no confusion about where to be.

The JAM 5K Run/Walk at East Pete Day has been held every year since at least 2017. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
