About the Great Grape Race

The course runs along township roads through Amish Country farmland and pastureland, with rolling hills throughout. It is a road race, and the terrain underfoot is straightforward, but the surroundings do the work: open fields, rural quiet, and scenery that makes the miles feel shorter than they are.

Packet pickup opens race morning, well before the start. Parking is in a grassy field at Winesburg Park, with signs guiding you in on the day. After the race, the park hosts a fall festival with food trucks, softball, and other activities. Cookies from a local bakery and water are at the finish line.
