About the Great 5k Pumpkin Run Event

The course starts and finishes at the Train Depot and winds through residential neighborhoods on a certified route. It is largely flat urban running, the kind of streets where you can see houses and yards the whole way. A fall festival kicks off near the finish after the main race, and recovery snacks and drinks are set out at the end.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Train Depot, with an earlier option at a running store in another city the day before that. Race-morning pickup is available at the start line. Parking is spread across several spots nearby, including a bank lot and a high school lot a couple of blocks away. Portable restrooms are at the start line.
