The course starts near a water park in Nocatee, which gives the whole morning a casual, neighborhood feel. The race is chip timed for the longer distances, and age group awards go deep, so there is real competition if you want it. Teams of four can compete together, which brings out groups as much as solo runners.

Packet pickup is race morning at the start line, with a window before the gun. After you finish, a food vendor called Banana Locos is on site with their frozen banana menu, which fits the theme better than most post-race spreads manage to.
