About the East Bay Running Festival
The courses head out from a pavilion along a bike path, then turn through open farmland and past old stone walls toward Touisset Point. The road is flat most of the way, with the kind of rural scenery that makes the miles go quickly. Both the shorter and longer road options are chip timed.
After the race, there is a food festival on the pavilion grounds with vendors, a beer garden, and live music. Runners get coupons on their bibs to use at the food stalls and bar. A petting zoo, face painting, and kids obstacle courses make it a full afternoon for families.
