About the Dam 5 Miler
The course starts at a recreation area overlooking Center Hill Dam, then crosses the dam itself before heading into Edgar Evins State Park. A pollinator corridor lines the road as you make your way toward the park's visitor center. The route has real climbs in both directions, so expect to work on the hills going out and coming back.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at an address in Lancaster, with a shorter window at the start area on race morning before the gun goes off.

The Dam 5 Miler has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
