About the Cut Carbon Run

The Cut Carbon Run is a student-organized environmental fundraiser that starts and finishes at Chesterton Athletic Field, a grass field sitting at the intersection of three streets in Shaker Heights. The course options include a shorter fun run and a longer road race, both beginning at the same spot. Leashed dogs are permitted, with a request to start near the back of the pack.

Street parking is scattered across several nearby residential streets surrounding the field. The race is put on by a Greater Cleveland student nonprofit, and proceeds go toward a sustainability investment focused on commercial building emissions.
