The race starts and finishes at a high school, with the shorter distance looping the neighborhood streets nearby and the longer route heading up the main avenue, cutting through a park, passing a pond, and swinging back down. The terrain is road running, mostly flat, with a course that returns you to where you started.

Everything happens on school grounds. Bib pickup opens early on race morning before the first wave goes off, so there is no need to come the night before. A DJ keeps things moving, and awards go out mid-morning once the results are in.
