About the Blue Move

The course runs out and back along a paved trail beside the Big Sioux River, starting from Fawick Park in downtown Sioux Falls. It is flat road the whole way, and at intervals along the route there are signs with facts about colorectal cancer. The finish line involves running through a large inflatable colon, which tends to get a reaction from the crowd.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at Falls Community Health, with a second window on race morning at Fawick Park. Parking on race day is free in a nearby lot; street parking in the area now costs money on Saturdays. Strollers are allowed, and so are leashed dogs.
