About the Barn Run
The course runs mostly on trail through a scenic stretch along the Red Cedar River, with some road mixed in. It is the kind of route where the surroundings do most of the talking, and in fall the tree cover along the river makes that easy. The race benefits a charity supporting people with intellectual disabilities, so there is purpose behind the morning.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at The Barn, which is also where the race starts. Morning pickup is available as well. Timing is handled professionally, with results posted live as runners finish.
